there must be about 900 million altogether(someone should work that out...wheres agapooka!)..and they get added too at the start of every game , in the merc market place

i believe buck meant to say "turn" and not "game". you best be ready at the turn click if you want them though because they usually go very quickly.

u buy them and they get killed 1st, thus preventing ure super trained from dieing.

now would u prefer to lose 2k supers or 1000 supers and 1k mercs per atk (arbritary number for the example)

Mercs are great to attack with since you kill them off and just buy more later. That way you can use your UU for other things.

You have to be pretty quick to get them though, they disappear from the market pretty fast after the turn change.
