Anyone ever notice how there are never any attack or defense mercs available? It so frustrating that I cant buy any for how much the really cost.
Because of that, I am willing to trade untrained mercs on a 4 to 1 ratio. 1 untrained merc is worth 900 sold back, so three is worth 3600 naq. each attack merc costs 3000, so you would be making a 600 naq profit in the deal. you would also be making 1800 (or double) the amount of naq you would get selling the attack mercs back. I dont want any defensice mercs though.
If anyone is interested in the deal, PM me ingame for more info,
Chief
P.S, admin should increase the merc generation.

You cant afford them or you cant get them fast enough? I know ive bought ever single merc on sale, minus the untrained mercs, atleast 3 times now. You just need to be quicker, and I know you have the money, I stole 10 mill from you today. If you cant even buy mercs how do you expect to beat me at a war?

option 1
Would dividing the merc available into the 4 races help?
It would stop top players buying all merc with 1 purchase, they would be able to buy the Tauri merc but 3 other players (minimum) would have the opportunity to purchase the other race mercs.
Game wise there would be no difference in the abilities of the mercs and they would not be stored as particular race merc but simply just as 4 seperate 'pools' of mers, 1 for each race.
option 2
Have a maximum puchase quantity of 1000 (?), this would slow the process down, if someone wanted to buy 5000 they would have to buy 1000, wait for refresh, buy 1000, wait, buy, wait etc etc
This extra time would allow a greater 'window of purchase' for all players

well i dont really care since i get nothing but super soldiers i know your thinking im crazy and im thinking im crazy.
but i noticed it is very hard to get mercs and it should be increased.
hey the idea about a set of mercs for all races is a good idea then it would be hard for tauri to get them and they would be destroyed anf the goa'uld will rule all flesh and blood(lucky replicators)
anyway mango's option 1 sounds like a good one

This is getting to be a big issue, as we are stealing more naq than ever and therefore, we all have more weapons.
But, the mercs are so few, we can't possibly all have enough.
I suggest we purchase mercs like we do Super Soldiers or like any other weapons.
Why shouldn't we be able to buy them like any other trained troop?
Doesn't make sense to me...

It's not a matter of luck; it's just a matter of time.

mercs are ment to agment your forces not be your forces. so haveing to few is good. it means that every one has to use a portion of their untrainde troops and spend at least 2k on each one to train them. so i think the merc situation is just fine. maby up the ammount of mercs per turn slightly just because more people want them and loose them but a firm limit on the ammount of mercs that make up your forces should be set. 1/4 of your attacking or defending troops can be mercs. that way people have to train troops before they can buy mercs
