Question about Commander

i have a friend that has just joined, he says he can't see the button for "Set this user as my commander". we did have one another set to peace, now we are neutral as of an hr ago, but could that of been the problem? now so now we must wait 24hrs or what? And yes my setting is set to accept new officers.

He just joined. Thats the problem, noobs have to wait Xnumber of days before setting a CO.

If you have logged on from the same computer (EG shared an IP) the COmmander button will also not appear.
Easy way to check is to get you mate to go out to otehr accounts. If he can make them his Commander then you've shared a connection. If he can't then he has to continue to play the waiting game.

If he just joined, he'll have to wait a bit like Tok'Ra said. I believe it's a week or two, but it's been a while. One last thing to check is to make sure you have the "accept officers" checked or they won't be able to join you no matter how long they've been around.

if u clik the CO's recruit link, will it still be possible to join underhim? heard u can circumvent it with a trick like this
