A new twist to UP.

My suggestion is as follows.
A set % of your UP goes directly into lifers.
Could be as small as 5% or as high as 25%.
WE all know that fathers force their kids to do their job, this is under that area.
Like it?
Hate it?
I do not care, as it is just a suggestion

It is interesting.
In one way it would be good because then when people are massed they are more likely to not loose everything...no matter how stupid they had been in building their account
On the other hand...I am not sure I want anymore lifers than I get already....
It would also guarentee a slow increase in the quality of all naq farms, but I am not sure if that is a good thing or not. It would just speed up the games growth rate even more.

Bill, what i think should happen is that every 3 months all UU in all accounts are converted to miners, no lifers added. This way income goes up people take a 10 day break from raiding. And farms are more useful, in keeping with the value of the current turn. But then again i think we should have a rank for both UP and total size, that way you could use it to help control raiding. isn't this sort of similar to auto-training?

not if it is a small % of up turned into lifers, as those cant be untrained...
we kind of like it... but we want to see it grow a little before we vote...

I like this idea. It kind of sometimes save you from raiders but I don't know about the farmers though. I'm nuetral to this.

I don't see how this can be a great benefit for the game...
I admit... it would be cool... and the farms would be more delectible...
but int the end....
it still seems like a novelty... that will get annoying one day

maybe make it like your officer income you can choose a percentage that become lifers that way when being massed you could raise it.

why can't you just train them yourself?
It's not like couple turns of llifers matter

well if you could set the percentage youself it would be fine, could be used as if you were going out for the day set it to 100% as if you left standing orders for your troops to follow in your absence

i like this idea and was actually going to suggest it today but since you bropught it up i would like a rnka for UP and size as it would help with raiding as you say and also make it harder to get into g and r territory hopefully becuase a decent up and size would be required not just even stats but sorry to be off topic...
i don't mind bills suggestion but i don't mind it the way it is. i don't think there is anything wrong with it because i think most active peoples up are trained as miners anyway.

Yeah i agree with timmy but i also think that you should be able to decide whether u want them to be trained as lifers....
And if that box is ticked it reduces your naq for the amount of uu being trained as lifers.
Over all i like the idea

There'd be a problem with the "Dead" accounts having more and more and more of an income... it would ruin the ballance of the game... in that there'd be too much Naq available...
