Need help identifying this movie

Hiya guys i was wondering if you could help me identify this manga film. It has been on the sci fi channel in the uk.

Based in some futuristic city theres some boy with a motobike who plays some game and gets a high score in it. I think the city is underground or somethink.

Its not Akira by the way.

I tried some Google combinations and racked my memory, but couldn't find anything. Some additional information -- if you can remember -- might help;
I.e. Any recollection as to the type of sport, name of the protagonist, or when you viewed the flick?
If you know the date, the UK Sci-fi has a schedule of their movies going back to the start of the month.
