Dedicated naq Miners.

I think that there needs to be a possible unit upgrade, from General drone to General Clone, or Peon to Super Peon. Whatever the unit, the purpose would be only mining naq, so you couldn't train them into defensive or offensive unites with out reassigning them first. Possibly double the naq production of each unit, by training the general unit into a dedicated "miner".
Just an Idea

That's a great idea and I support you 100%.

yea it seems like a good idea... wat do u think the numbers would be? like 100k per unit then double naq per turn?

It would be like training a normal unit, seriusly howmuch training do you need to mine naq, it would cost between 2k and 3.5k.

or we can ask Forum for a naqda boost per unit like he did in the past to speed up gameplay

if the super miners are upgrades they should be allowed to be killed in COmbat

but only combat that is inflicted on ur realm, ie, u atk someone u loose supers and mercs. Someone atks u, u loose supers, mercs, and miners. Because miners would have no place going into battle, however they would be causualties in combat against ur realm

It would be a seperate tally and only if you lose because they would be behind the lines.

My three cents:

I don't think it should be a full doubling, but rather a 50% increase.

Upgrade should be 50k+, and irreversable, or at least a fair degree of cost to be reversed.

(if not irreversable/otherwise, I think it'd become a bit to much of an exploit, especially if the upgrade made too cheap).

That's just my opinion though. Cost could be associated with various different items: Cost to purchase mining gear, genetic enhancements to deal with extremes in lower tunnels, training on how to use a pick.

How about techs and tools to help the units that have been made miners.

if this proposal is approved, it shud be limited to the army size, like mercs have (sort of).

otherwise, the gap between high players and low would increase ALOT!

and if your realm is attacked, you lose a random amount of miners, as lord sokek said is something i agree with.

this suggestion has promise IMHO!

Definitly a great idea...Maybe doing something to make them harder to train instead of making them casualties though...

Well hey...I guess as long as there not a casualty if you attack some1...Meh...But I like never attack...Make them so they would not become casualties as much as Ofensive and Supers...Thats fine with me then...
