Fleets not being destroyed

When I attack someone their fleets aren't being destroyed, my MS blows through theirs destroying the weapons, I don't believe there are any shields which is where the problem might be.

I can and have reproduced this bug, I reproduced it many, many times on this person

Could someone clear this up?
It would be nice to see some logs under 100 fleets and some over then we will be able to see whats up....

I spoke to admin about it in the mod meeting that week, he thought he knew the problem and made a note, so I think he may have fixed it.
