Enhanced Mothership's

I'd like to see a few enhancements to Motherships,

The ability to have cloaking device, similar to Tauri special.

The ability to be able to attack other planets after capturing one, eg knock down defenses on other planets.

Secondary motherships, you can have more than one planet, why cant we have more motherships, maybe the introduction of mothership bases, etc.

Thats a few things i would'nt mind seeing.

Mothership fleets have been suggested before... feel free to necro the topic...

The cloaking device: why? You dont see the MS stats as it is now... so what advantage a cloaking would do?

Yeah, your MS will always remain the 'hidden' aspect if your account.

More or less I mean if the off chance another mothership is present then no damage to your mothership, a little like the Tauri special tech eg Cloaking effect.

cloacking affect wouldnt really matter, and if we had more MS you could take more than one planet a day, not good for alliance wars cause no one would have planets left. OH and sence you can only take one planet a day it would be nice to have bombers to destroy defence facilities but the bombers cant actually take the planet thats what the fighters do. plus it would be nice if the bombers were made that they take out more defence facilities since they are bombers.

but with the bombers you can attack as many planets as you want to destroy the facilities and leave the guys planets for anyones taking

What about Mothership protecting planets??...that has some sense..since you have to use your MS to get a planet...it would be nice to see the option of defending the planets also with the MS...
It could go something like this...
You can set your mothership to protect anyone of your planets...staying at orbit on it...but while that happens it wont cooperate on attack missions or defending homeworld ....the potential defending capability of your mothership against an attack on that particular planet should be interesting enough...and you can order your mothership to leave that defending post at any time...assigning a new one...or getting home...or explore deep space.

I found this senseful and logic enough....and would give our beloved ms more dinamic participation on game developing...as they should have.

I'm going to build off of your idea... this is just a random idea

why not have 10 MSs total? All have seperate stats, you have to build them seperately... then you can choose which ones to defend which planets. Those that dont' defend a planet defend against normal attacks. so you can have all 10 MSs around 1 planet, or all defending against normal attacks... idk, just an idea

I wouldnt have all 10 around 1 planet jeez think about it, get a planet dont defend it and put 10 MS around it, would take a lifetime to steal, the idea of having a MS to protect each planet isnt a bad idea, after all your MS now protects your home planet right.....

But the MS's that protect your planets ( other than your home planet ) do not have fleets as they are not attacking a planet, nor can they be sent out, they only need a strike and def.

Right it'd make the planet invincable, but leave you open to direct attacks with 10 MSs helping ground forces...

in a way, this would hurt bigger players also

Not really though, if you can have 10 MS, just have 9 planets, 9 MS protecting them and 1 protecting your account ta da, problem solved.

nope, not when you have the weakest MS protecting your account (remember, you upgrade them all seperately), and that 1 MS is going against 10... it'd die so fast... so using MSs to protect planets would be a last resort :)
