A call for the High Road

During this war I've noticed a great number of good and bad things.

Among the worst is the behavior of a few on this forum. So I'm making this post as a plea to the community at large. Please stop with the childish remarks; please take the high road when you make a post; please attempt an ounce of respect for your fellow community members at large.

If someone makes a post that you don't agree with, or that you find insulting you can do a few things first instead of making an inflammatory post. A few things to try:
1) contact them in PM and ask if they have proof, and if not to please change what they said, remember be nice and certious .
2) if 1 doesn't work, talk to a mod that you think would be more sympathetic to your side of the story.
3) if 1 and 2 don't work, make a reasonable post stating your side of the story without all the attitude and without calling people names out of disrespect.

nice post, and i believe that this 'community' that i think so highly of is falling apart but i think thats because of a few people driving away the good guys who stop posting here.

I think people are posting out of frustration because they aren't being heard. So they do what gets them the most attention, they act unreasonable. At least I think it started out that way for some. For others, they started acting out because they did not like how they feel they were treated by an admin of this forum so they go around trying to make the environment as uncomfortable for everyone else as a sort of payback.

yeah that's 2 suggests in the last few hours that's has been ok. CIA stands down for a week to see if COPs falls apart. And moral conduct on the forums.

there are some poeople who i've gotten offenced at. and i've talked to one ingame, and the other well he removed the problem so i don't really have one with him. Both TF members btw, and not huge posters prewar on the forums, hope they stay.

Well, mods need to step back, and account holders need to grow up, and post responsible. To the matter at hand and that's about it's, so that topics don't get side tracked.

Hint' it's ok if we have 20 active threads in a section, see that way we might be able to do the discussion and NOT have the spam as when the train of thought goes another route a new topic is started to explore that branch.

i think a lack of respect for people you cant see, and the inability to agree to disagree is a major factor in most conflicts, weather ingame or on the forum
