Gathering Intel idea

Might be useful to have a gather intel button or something similar
When spying on people with a covert similar to yours (Or looking for planets) you dont always get 100% of their information.
What im suggesting is a way to collate that all together in 1 intel report.

Possible ways to do this;

- Spy a number of times and then click collate information for player ____
- Have a Gather intel button where you can type in an amount of times you wish to spy on the person /50? or max covert turns.
This than spys and adds all information into 1 report found in an intel report removing any ??? with data found

Possible ways to make this happen;

- Make collating information cost an amount of Naq, UU, AT, Covert Turns to do
- Larger loss's if you fail the spying process (Gather intel button idea)

Why this is a good idea;

- Makes gathering information for wars easier, find planet information easier to keep track of.

Why this is a bad idea;

- Another update which isn't 100% necessary or useful to some players

This is just an idea, in a development stage, post your thoughts and coments

I like the concept, but disaggree with how its done.

I think it would be better to simply have the option available in the intel area.

Have an option where
You just enter a persons ID, push a button, and combines all reports with that id. Starting with the most recent, and replace ??? with information from older reports, but always using the most recent available.

I think we should also have a combined report area below the Intel by you, that way your combined reports are easy to find should do more reconing and you still have each individual spy report to look if you choose.

we know this has been suggested before...

and there is one easy way to make this idea pretty much obsolete... use notepad... (or other text program)

when we spy planets, we copy stats from spying results into notepad, then fill in blanks as we get them from later spyings...

but if it hadnt been for that, then your idea would have been great...
