Petition for PPT for server down times

After reading our alliance forum, I have noticed that the number of players that are loosing resources due to server downtimes and unsceduled returns of the servers are far greater than those that gained by farming. I was amazed at the amount of naq we lost during this last short downtime and can only imagine how much more has been lost in other alliances due to people not knowing when the server will be back and unable to bank. I see a lot of angry people cursing the admin over this, and I think we all deserve the same option to get back on track in any time zone when server downtimes happen.

So I would like to request admin to make a PPT for each and every server downtime from now on and I hope many of the players, specialy those that experienced the loses themselves, will support me by replying to this topic.

It should only be required for major down time or for times when some people/countries are affected and not others. then a server-wide ppt should be issued.

however for a small amount of downtime i think it was less than what 4 hours this last one then no not really, especially as everyone wasnt able to login

I am aware the last downtime was short, yet during it most of my friends lost far greater amounts of naq than in other longer downtimes. I belive that at least 12 hour PPT is urgently necessary for EVERY downtime.

It is not our fault the game is not working and we shouldnt be paying for it with our resources.

I totaly agree, becaouse I have lost during this downtime 80bil naq, becaouse when the game was one I was sleeping...and before downtime I was on PPT and when I tried to acces in SGW to buy 1 PPT more the SGW was not working (becaouse admin was banning does cheaters and fixing the bug) and I though that when the game was on I will get at least some little h of PPT (4-6h is good) and when I woke up this morning I check my acconut and see that Im not on PPT and that some players have stolen my money from last PPT... So I agree that having PPT after short or long downtime is great

Once the game came back up it was very early hours in the morning for UK, i happened to log back on just before i was going to bed.
I had 100billion out, not sure why but i did, if the game didn't come back that turn i may have woken up with double or more that.
Shorter ppt until next log in would be sufficient

I also agree that a PPT should be given at such downtimes. Fortunately I was online when it came back, but lots of people weren't.

i agree i tried to log in at 12.30am gmt time and server still down went to sleep and lost over 90bill naq i understand that admin has a hard job to do but even just a few hours would have been helpfull.

And then when the server crashes? from this ppt you have all "demanded", or rather the farm fest after.

And if you get this ppt, what about someone that can only login every 24 hours? and the maitanence cut short their last session, should we then extend the ppt for 24 hours? and then if someone only checks every 2 days? should we extend it again?

being honest, i dont care, or mind, nor would i if it happened while i was asleep, why? because to the best of my knowledge forum was fixing exploits that where being used at teh time to make HUGE amounts of naq (more than your entire alliances will ever see), and i would rather have those fixed and no ppt, rather than have sgw destroyed OR a roll back.

Regardless of how much naq you loose a lot of people get really pissed (including myself) when you log in and see you lost (sometimes huge amounts) naq, for such a stupid unnecessary reason. Not everyone is rolling around in naq and loosing it due to a game/server issue is just as unecceptable as people hacking to gain it.

Many people were on PPT, thats 96 turns worth. More than a few

I know one person in my alliance asked us to attack him for his naq becuase he may not have been able to get on to extend his PPT, luckily he did.

A ppt would have been nice. I know I logged in with 14 minutes remaining on my previous ppt, with a lot of naq out. No ppt is a better than a rollback of course.

As for the person who said the game may have crashed during the potential farmfest; Forum usually staggers the ending times of server-wide ppts now, so mass farmfests don't all happen at once, or even at all in some cases.

yeah...agree...ppt should be there...at least 6 hours....but what happened has happened...now get ready xale and others..we will be bashed by those who had the biggest profit as always....
