In game messages. how?

I feel really stupid. I am trying to understand the game, and get most of it through trial and error and reading all the FAQs...but how do I send in game messages?

You click Attack, which takes you to the battlefield, then find the user you want to send a message to (use Search functions on bottom of page) and click on his link. If you want to send a message to someone who recently attacked/unsuccessfully tried to spy or sab you/sent you a message, you just click on their link on Attack Log/Intelligence/Messages page respectively. Once on their profile page, there should be a button labeled 'Send Message'; click it and type your message. You can only send messages to players in the same realm (Pergatory or Normal Reality) as yourself, unless you are their commander or alliance leader.

Thanks. I tried that a few times before. Apparently I am just blind. But knowing that I was doing the right thing actually let me find the button. Thanks again
