IDs accessible across realms

My first suggestion on this forum?
I don't think anyone else suggested this, or at least Common Suggestions and Search came up empty.
Basically, there could be an option of seeing a player's ID (and nothing more) even if you're not in the same realm as him (which is currently impossible, since you don't even have his link so you can place your cursor above it). This would make little difference, since you still can't send him messages or resources, and since you can find out his ID anyway, provided he is an officer/commander/alliance leader.
My reason for this? Quite simple and nothing suspicious... if you checked the cheats/bans section of the forum recently, you might have noticed I started hunting down multis - mostly inactive and low-ranked accounts, but multis nevertheless. But noob multis hiding in Perg are inaccessible to me - I have no intention of returning there any time soon, and I don't have anyone there that I know and willing to spend what might for them be precious time to search through pages of inactive users.
How could this be achieved? Logically, these are the options:
1. changing the way IDs can be found out through Battlefield
2. changing the way Perg players are indicated on Battlefield (for instance, something similar to *war and *peace or the spy/full turns attack/full turns raid icons)
Whether this suggestion is accepted or not, thanx for reading :)
Regards, Lucky Starr

I don't like it...

When you'd have the id, you could also get other infos... For example: How many officers he has, who is his commander, how many planets he has... And i don't think this is good...

Don't exactly know what good it is knowing how many planets someone has, if I can't spy him/her. Anyway, if I wanted the info that bad, I'd go after him/her in perg and look for myself, or just ask a friend in there... And you are basically saying SGW before perg was 'not good'.
Never mind, there's always someone against... I'm fine with that, it's not like I'm the only one trying to help. I just thought this could become useful.

I don't like it, perg is meant to be different, you shouldn't be able to find I.D.'s. Although I do agree it might help with cheaters, but is it really that big of a problem.

Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with knowing someone's ID. Perg is different, but it's still SGW Main, not another server or game. People can enter/leave Perg; titles, alliances, ranks, army sizes, races, treasuries can still be seen.

there is no harm in this... in fact, if you have him/her/it in attack/spy logs or message logs, you can still see him/her, since you can click names there, so not allowing to see id's isnt needed... also, those not possessing those, can just ask someone to check, and one gets it...

its not as if you'd get the ability to strike at this/that person if you have the ID...

It just seems like it could be used to sell or something or give away to other people when your supposed to be separated.
