who here still uses older technology? it can be any item ie typewriter, cassette player, cd player etc etc.
i hav pretty much stopped using cds aside from rare times i actually pop them into the cd reader on the radio. i use a laptop, mp3 and recordable cassettes. i mainly use these cassettes to tape a radio station that has good music on while im away.

Re: older technology
i wouldnt class CD as old school just yet since most music is still realeased in this format, unlike VHS or something which is now not used for realeasing stuff, but some people still record on it, as do cassettes.
I still occasionally play Goldeneye on my N64. But that's about it.

Soon one will wish to be able to go back to his/her Cd player, they plan on putting taxes on MP3 to compensate the artists for the so called "huge losses" they "experience" due to piracy. I've heard of something like a 90$ increase, how ridiculous is that anyway?
I still got a few cassettes here and there, stuff that can't really be found on CDs nowadays. And I've got tons of VHS.

i was stuck with pentium II computers until I upgraded to my new machine. My mp3 player is older, and I recently removed my floppy drive... it wasnt working, but no big loss, i was going to replace it with a card reader anywho...
cds arent exactly old, well... yes... they are... but its still popularly used... im looking forward to hd dvd maybe, or as it was in Red vs. Blue, HHDDVVDDBVD!

Re: older technology
fine, cds arent that old but i pretty much am over them atm. im missing the fact that the only 2 recordable cassettes are mine, both with songs recorded several years ago. though i can only use 1 to record stuff as i plant to keep 1 cassette's recording on. my father got rid of his recordable cassettes long ago
. we do hav vhs but we never watch them anymore.
