I am undecided on the idea, it seems like it could be a good idea, but could also be devastating for the game.

I have not played Chaos or the other one, so do not have much experience in what is to offer from different servers.

Am interested to see what other people think (providing it is in the form of discussion, not one word answers)

Perhaps a server like main, without planets :D Hmm what else. No raiding. I'm not sure about ascending, keep it or not? I don't know. How about ascending, but no ascended server connected to it? That'd make life easier...Keep perg, thats nice for people with limited internet access who want to still play. Uhhh 1 AT per turn, instead of 3. A market that isn't magical!(ie, doesn't refill it self and have constant amounts, it only gets resources when people trade stuff, so AT's could go out of stock, or UU, or naq)

That's all I can think of.

I think this is a good idea, sgw was better when everyone had 1 at per turn, and no ingame market.

uh i should point out that Goa'uld are actually really HORRIBLE at catching spies in their midst, so maybe AC bonus isn't the best idea (refering to all the tok'ra in their midst and when Jackson went to a meeting of the system lords!)
We could also add in the Re'tu, attackers take less losses and REALLY good bonuses.
also replicators should get a percent of their losses as untrained. something fairly low like 5% but could be a race tech so percent goes up.

Also get rid of mercs. Theres no mercs in the show.. shouldnt be in the game...
Also could add in the lucian alliance. overall strengths, good normal income, naq stolen has an amount siphoned off.
Also that one human race who had the GODLY defences for their planet. have really good defence, but really low attack.

If the market was more variable depending on what people traded and it balanced itself completely instead of a partial demand within a few percentage points it wouldnt need to be refilled on occasion. if something is getting too low, the demand is obviously high and the supply is low so the price for it goes up. hence more people start trading in to it. Also get rid of ppt. Instead make it a autobanker. Whereas one can hire the market to auto bank your naq. you wont have naq sitting out for 2 days, but you also cant buy anything as any naq you take out automatically gets deposited. this would affect how it's used. Also if the player attacks anyone then the autobanker turns off. spying would still be allowed though.

I would also suggest going to 1 AT per turn, but a full attack is only 10 at. would provide for a faster then original main gameplay but not quite as fast as current (half as fast)

I would play. I do not see any harm in the creation of another SGW Main server. If you don't want it, you could just not play it. I have not heard any worthy justifications against another server. For some reason alot of the older players (Not all!) seem to find the idea of another server repulsive...Im curious why, as after all they do not have to join...
Once in a position of power, the thought of having rivals for that power whilst everyone is on the same level, seems too much to stomach. Can't have people stinging ego's can we :shock:

but it shouldnt be connected in main or any other server no trading of resources stuff like that same in quantum, but seriously there are too many games of similar style already but lets see, time will tell, unless you make things more interesting not similar to chaos or ascension that could be something new

I would play, but i'd like to see more races, but also factions available for play...

IE: The Lucian Alliance, The Free Goa'uld Nation, The Origin Followers.

No ascending, better techs, more race/faction specific techs. No Raiding, No Perg, More AT per turn, like 5 AT. Less "power" per unit etc, IE: Instead of 1 armed soldier having 15,000 power it has 15. Keeps numbers smaller, ensures the game wont end up in the trillions for many many years to come.

No caps, and no trading for the first few months at least. I dont want it to be another quantom wars, where people spend all their SG Main stuff, for quantom power.

this idea has been SUGGESTED in the SUGGESTION AREA and it as you can see, the server was never created, in the SUGGESTION AREA there where many talks about this idea...

as for your question I wouldnt play it, cause I'd have not enough time to play it
