Time dilatation attack.... ;)

Could not read this anywhere...

In the same spirit as LIFERx5 against AC attack :)

We could have a attack where for every 2 AT we spend we destroy 1 AT to the enemy. This could be called "Time dilatation attack".

Easy suggestion...

This would be very handfull in pergatory lol!! :)

Best regards.

Re: Time dilatation attack.... ;)

Hmm... I like the the idea of being able to destroy someone's AT's. However I don't know what the best way is to do that.

I think that there could be a way to use up someone's AT's-call it an illusion, or a holographic attack, etc.

The idea suggested here (2AT for 1AT) is doable. I'm sure there could be other ways to do it also. Suggestions/comments anyone?

Hmmm well ATs are only "unphysical" ressource in this game, and when thinking of it it's pretty silly to trade them in market, since it's like rounds in sports, not possible to get extra ones for other ressources looool.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean... I think AT's are very physical. You can't expect soldiers to be constantly active-they can only perform so much in any given time (3 AT's per turn). To have them perform more you have to expend your own resources (naq or uu) to pay them overtime wages (ok, a bad analogy but I think it gets my point across).

I don't think it's silly at all to trade them in the market-they are arguably the most valuable resource since you can't do much at all without them. If all your enemies warriors are too tired to fight he can't attack you.

I think this is a great idea-however I'd put limits on it-otherwise a big player, or a rich alliance could simply buy AT's to use to destroy an alliance AT's and farm them with no fear of retribution.

Re: Time dilatation attack.... ;)

I mean that ATs are not like money, food, troops, bears whatever...
Trading them isn't really logical, as when you attack, you don't send all troops at once, or normally shouldn't, unlike in this game...I know many many unlogical things that make AT trading logical, impossible to bring back logic in this game lol!!!
1 million soldiers have targeted gate weapons, if you know SG1 you'll know it is IMPOSSIBLE and totally INaccurate. Not only unlogical thing in this game. Same as fact your MS isn't set back to 0/0 when massed etc...
So I fear this dilatation attack would fit game lol

Re: Time dilatation attack.... ;)

then an alliance which is in pergatory could stay there and any time they find an enemy they could all sacrifice each of their turns to trap the enemy inside perg to never escape..................... :-)

Re: Time dilatation attack.... ;)

that is by far the worst idea i have heard.

imagine an alliance jumping into perg to flee war, and then instead of attacking each other costing the troops, they will war on at's.

so in effect there is no war as no one loses troops, simply their ability to attack.

WAR IS great for rank building, because it shoots you up a good few ranks as lots of players lose defences, lete keep it that way

Re: Time dilatation attack.... ;)

i would think this is a bad idea in one way if i got massed wouldnt that make it so i lost alot of turns then when i get massed i use those turns to farm and get naq to rebuild and buy ppt with turns so yeah but otherwise i dont have a problem with it

Re: Time dilatation attack.... ;)

no i hate the idea, sry man but when i spend massive amounts of naq on AT i dont want some punk to come and destroy them just becuz i massed him. it also has a lot of potential multi abuse becuz a multi can build 4k AT and then they would use it to mass away someone else's AT

Re: Time dilatation attack.... ;)

i hate the idea myself but it would make it interesting in a war like TL vs many.

that way the many can continually remove TL at's then remove defences at will due to more users.

interesting but never going to happen

And they have to spend 2x as much naq to kill your AT, hurting them more as long as you don't pick on someone so much larger than you that they can afford to buy 10k turns.

Re: Time dilatation attack.... ;)

instead of destroying AT how about if it just stopped them from producing them for a while but they are still able to buy them ??
