Hi. Just wondering. Some players make heaps of naq every turn. If you go into perg, cannot you just sit there and build up your army/stats and gain Attack turns, then come out when you are bult up again?.
Is this why players go into perg or are there other benefits?
Thanks

Re: What is the benefit in going into perg.
I'd say a good reason for going to perg is that some people have very little time (maybe not even on a daily basis) to play SGW, so they switch realms to take less attacks. Some probably go to perg to avoid trouble in normal reality.
And then there's always the newbie who logs in for the first time, sees this shiny little button labeled 'Realm Shift!' and decides to click on it

Probably means a 15-turn attack gets you more naq in perg than in normal reality...

yes but due to the fact you can only hit a limited amount of times in perg but not in normal invariably means you earn less naq in perg.
(and any decent farmer doesn't need to spend more than 20 mins a day to farm so the argument of having little time is kinda void)

Re: What is the benefit in going into perg.
No question that the only benefit of going into Perg is if you have a good defence, a good income, but not much time to play the game. So although you will not get to farm very much you should be able to protect all of your income, and during the time that you do play you can hit players with much larger amounts of naq (relative to defence) than you would be able to hit in main.
Of course the disadvantage is the fact you hardly ever have any ATs and that the market is all but useless to you. And you can't use the broker system. Or transfer resources.
So Perg will only suit a player happy to log on once or twice per day and grow slowly. If you like to play a lot during the day then stay out of Perg as you will quit the game before you have managed to get 5 days of ATs in order to get out again.
