Well, i had a planet taken today which has 72bil defence on it.
Although when the person was massing it down, my planet was only defending with 30-60bil? if the defence would of hit 72bil, he wouldnt of been able to touch it.
Possible planet bug

it's like a normal defense, where you don't fight back with everything.
most of the time you're only defending with between 65% and 95% of the total ability of a planet, however, if you were getting like 30 bil defense from the start of the attacks, yes ... that does not add up properly and admin should look into it and adjust the code.
