I think this 4 MS suggestion is about to fail.
I give my another 2 cents to do one more option (the first one), and make this more clear.
1.) We don't need any additional mothership, but... (most conservative)
a.) Half part.
NEW: Extend our good old mothership's function to defend our foundling planets with its fleet strength when at home. Some strategy, some risk. If you are raiding and send your MS to explore or sold your fleets, then no additional bonus.
Too much bonus for entire fleet strength? Let's do it 50% then. Why: Defending your planet defenses is harder in order the enemy fleets not to destroy. If they wan't they will kamikaze. Your fleet can only decrease their number.
b.) In addition to that, we use
Lore's idea to speed up hauling back process on stolen planets
with our good old MS in a more realistic way.
2.) We need 2 motherships ONLY.-PRIMARY mothership can be selected anytime.
-GnR points are calculated from your good old (first) mothership - not primary.
-You can only obtain 1 planet / day with your PRIMARY mothership - as before, however you can steal BACK 2 planets / day from your ATTACK LOG which stolen.
Primary mothership functions:- Conquers 1 planet/day - as before.
- Engages in battles the enemy mothership - as before.
- 24 hour exploring mission - as before.
- Cannot guard the other planets of your solar system.
Secondary mothership functions:- NEW: Does guarding duty around the other planets of your solar system.
- NEW: Brings back additional 1 planet / day WHEN the primary mothership has exhausted - brought back one hijacked planet from your attack log...
- NEW: Functions also as a BACKUP primary mothership of course, however it needs user interaction in order to be selected as primary.
- Cannot engage enemy motherships when secondary.
3.) We need 4 motherships.weilandsmith's original idea or something like that.
