Don't you agree that resorting to absurd arguments is an indirect admission of defeat?
After all, saying "It's just the way I type it" can be extended to other debates infinitely, .. but it's absurd.
Now, now... that's by no means an absurd argument in the case of spelling and basic principles of foreign language, you're just presuming to extend it so far..an absurd argument would be calling upon wittgenstein and the old beetle in the box, perhaps even throwing in some solipsism as I have not used it in oh so long...
the point I was getting at, as far as you are concerned..is that I did not know how to spell it, so used my english language knowledge, and the sounding of the word (which I know I do have correct) to write the word in a different form, as is done all the time. Even when I have, in years gone by, typed it into google.. the same word has been returned to represent goodbye in Russian, and that in my arrogance instead of actually checking further to see if I was indeed correct, I naturally presumed I was right, and as, obviously, I am english we cannot be wrong.
The latter point, of course.. was basically.. if the Americans are going to corrupt my language unchallenged in similar means, then leave me a lone with my russian!
The entire post was not actually as cocky as it may have appeared, had people read between the lines.
That of course, is actually what the very final point was referring too. The 'Semantics are fun', as of course.. I knew all this would be what would be taken from my post and the language used.
You may be right about the Russian dear Universe, but I fooled you all again.

No..

evolution, implies improvement. I would more refer to this as the law of diminishing returns. The english language has been spread and used - copied, so many times by countless idiots.. it is now filled with inaccuracies that even I, with my extensive vocabulary, cannot fully remove for use.
American English.. is non-existant. It is just a lazy.. degraded version of the closest descendant of REAL english, but alas still just english. You mispronounce words, misspell them... american english, please...LAZY english would be the most benevolent term that accurately applies to such a thing.
Glad to have been of service one again.
Oh! And jackipoo's! I am quite certain Syntax would have referred to language before it referred to laws of computer language, but there really just the same thing...
