I appreciate what you are all saying and apart from resets to implement new features, I dont think there should be any in the main game....
that is what quantum is for - if you want resets play that one...
no one is untouchable... I started in quantum a month in... I remember xavier (who was #3 at the time) saying he could not sab the top player becuase he has 100 of each of the strongest weapons... I thought WOW! 100 of each! I will never catch up... and now I am the top player - and no doubt tomorrow someone else will be... big deal! I got up to rank 16 in the normal game, and now I am 724 or something...
things change! a player ranked 2462 with a few of the lowest weapons can totally destroy the top ranked players defence in around 5 min if they have 1000 or so attack turns saved up... then that #1 player will be back at level 1234 or so... no one is untouchable...
I dont understand the need to reset all the time... the roman empire used to be a force to be feared, and now where are they?
It takes SOOOO much efort to get to rank #1 (ie - setting a timer to wake you up every 30 min so you can bank or spend your naq, and sleeping with a laptop by your bed) I do that in quantum becuase it ends in 40 days or so... I cant keep that up for ever, and cant be stuffed doing it in the normal game...
that is why the roman empire vanished- they could not keep up the effort.. so the #1 rank will allways be open in the main game, if you have been playing for 6 months, or 1 day, everyone has an equal shot at it... even without resets!
