Manchester City new-boy Jerome Boateng has aggravated a knee injury - after smacking it on an airplane drinks trolley
And the Germany defender is now expected to miss the next month of his first season in Eastlands.
Boateng tore a tendon in his left knee during Germany's 2-2 draw against Denmark earlier this month - but aggravated the injury on the way home.
I imagined my start at City to be quite different, of course,' the 22-year-old said.
'Even in my first game with City against Valencia (in a friendly), I had problems with the knee from the [Germany] match in Copenhagen.'
Boateng hopes to back in training towards the end of September.
