What do you want to see in the game? what can be improved? any suggestions welcome here...

Bank transaction cost

In short, used to be people paid 2% of their bank deposits as transaction costs (the funds would disappear into the great unknown, as is custom with RL banks these days). People ascended, and never had to pay bank transaction costs again.
Newbies do, in fact, pay bank transaction costs.

Wouldn't it add a fun element of consideration to the game to restore the bank transaction costs to their former glory? After all, it's pretty much clicketyclick fun, this game.. wonder if people could handle the game with a little spicier edge. ;)

By taking Naq away? That's hardly spicier, more like silly.

I figured it would be more interesting if you could not just bank and unbank without a price; right now it's boring.. oh well. Not like this would change much. Just thought it'd be something to bring back, as I recall having to make some 'interesting' moves with the naq and all that.
Then again.. the game has so far only become simpler, gravitating towards a single point-and-click operation.

Given the game's gravitation over the past years, that would go towards removing it from the newbies. -_- Oh well, I've had that experience and it was funny. Let others not have it, times change.

Seems fair to me.

The fact that you're putting 1.6q in to a single stat shows to me that 32T shouldn't be too big of a deal. If you can afford 1.6q, you can afford another 32T on top...

This also seems to even out gameplay too. People are always talking about how the big players get it so easy, while the small non $$ using players have to struggle, well while 2% is the same on everyone, the naq involved is much smaller with players of smaller calibre, thusly making it easy for them to cover losses.

It's a very small change.. a minor detail, but I'd say any little thing can help.

While the percent amount is the same for everyone, I’ve yet to see an ingame reason to bring it back – beyond the desire to make it ‘spicier’. Sorry, that just doesn’t cut it for me. If there is a game reason, so be it, but there are other things that should be focused on before we go for something to suit an individual’s personal desire.

Let's have an overall look on things.
Past vs Present.

Mothersip:
Rebuild every ascension/just rebuy weapons & shields.
Ascension with big stats:
Rewards in ascended/doesn't change much in ascended, people ascend with minima and they aren't disadvantaged ascension wise
Banking:
Costed to bank/is free to bank for ascended people (who are filled with advantages over unascended)


There doesn't seem to be much ingame challenge in the path of ascension or regular ressources dealing anymore (you don't have to rebuy MS, you don't see difference if you build with minima or monster prior to ascending, and you even have free banking with all blessings/strong weapons/ascended bonuses compared to unascended who don't have the fee anymore).

And unlike the first two examples I gave, bringing back 2% bank fee wouldn't cause a "storm" in the game. And what ZERO said. Would a little bit of spicying create a huge unbalance? To the contrary, it would rebalance with unascended ones. Why should the fee be removed altogether? Aren't there already enough things that have been changed in the path of making things less challenging in the path of gameplay as I pointed out?

I’ll shoot myself later for suggesting this – what is a more sensible suggestion is to reverse it, ascended beings pay, unascended newbies don’t. Or even if you made it such that for the first year of your accounts age you didn’t pay it. That would better show mercy for the newbies and give them a step up.

@Cole, yes some of the changes from the past have been silly. The rebuild of MS for example was a great factor in keeping them all equal as was ascension itself. As for the rewards for big ascensions, let's not go there becuase that will lead to ranting about the present state.

But despite all that, there is no reason to change it beyond wanting to change it. If a change is giong to happen it would make MORE sense to do what I suggested above.

Though either way, I would prefer admin to look at some of the other suggestions and implement them over this one. If we have limited Admin time doing stuff, then this is a low priority change.
