I would like to see it rather sooner. Arena could easily end today and it has been reduced to less than a half since players are getting planets only fresh kills and almost all players who has kills from early stage, are eliminated.

Arena won't end today, will take several more days. Maybe even weeks.
And as for getting planets for kills... I can ask my friends/alliance mates to enter the tournament and ask them to untrain all when I am ready strike. This way I can get more planets with almost no losses, so not really fair...

You will be maybe able to do it in one arena match, but if somebody will be checking it...
There will be maybe arena attack log (I hope, it will be at least with 6 hours delay).
But I agree, that planets should not be given on kills (maybe 300 ATs as small reward), but much better UUs to all players, that were killing the target. More UUs you will kill, more UUs you will get. For every def super killed, there will be +1 UU (after 500M def supers killed, you can add +100M attack supers, with is cca to cover your loses and small bonus). This way, players that will do the most damage, will also get the highest rewards. And also some small amounth of UUs for killing assasins and spyes.
Active players will get UUs to play, vultures (ehm I mean players with luck, that will have last blow) will get some ATs, to force them play and not only vulturing.

Re: Tournament Match 1: Deathmatch
Any number of ATs is an extremely powerful bonus for those who kill, but would ensure the Arena go full-speed.
However, it would also mean that one who starts killing, never runs out. You start with enough AT to kill 2 people, get ATs for those kills and you can kill more. It would go faster, but harder to balance between levels.

Re: Tournament Match 1: Deathmatch
Coming at the problem for a different angle
What about something like- You get round phasing quicker depending on how much damage you have done to them in the last few hours. Or its harder to attack phased people if you haven't damaged them.
Say you could only hit somebody 5mins after turn change if you had killed less than 200m of their planets in the last few hours. Means that people who have done damage can secure the kill with more ease as long as they have the turns to do it.
Or maybe the person that phases the guy gets extra attempts at killing them? Doesnt necessarily mean they can take down the phased person easier but should hamper kill sealers.
Not sure its a good idea....but thinking outside the box should be encouraged right?

It only takes one well-timed hit to steal a kill.. but the principle is sound and should make it more complicated to steal kills.Jim wrote:Coming at the problem for a different angle
