Game Filter vs Forum Filter

Frak is not a profanity.
It is the equivalent of saying fudge or darn.

Even with the definition given by the BSG wiki, which clearly states it to be a profanity?

Its fairly easy to replace the examples with less "offensive" equivalents:

"shut the hell up" "stuff him up" "what the hell"

Why not use those instead of using something which, by definition of the BSG community themselves, would be counted as a profanity? Would make things much simpler.

The rules are not always word based, they are also context based a well.

Possibly, but if you extend that to frak you, You will probably be warned, if nothing else. for being abusive.

Saying "**Filtered** you" to someone can be seen as abusive, and as such, so could "frak you".

We already discussed the phrase frak and all other words like that, in the Mod Section. It was decided that they are 100% allowed. As I remember that was the consensus, and it is also my opinion (as head of General).
