One can easily see what is wrong with this game. It used to be all about skill. But now it's who has the most money to spend. Since any player with some extra cash can become powerful. Especially now since the prices are so cheap. And now you can even buy Ascension lvls. It's stopped being a game and now it's a cash cow for it's makers. And as long as the remaining hardcore players are still around the creator will keep it going.

I like the ideas but if I (or other school kids) have to log on even more to prevent a descension especially against a ridiculously high toc then its not good ideas. Sometimes I get a message that I cannot descend hit because my toc is not high enough, well I think if someone has a toc too high they shouldn't be able to do that to a lower one. So if pcarmy descend attacked me he shouldn't be able too because his power is twice mine, and the same, I can't make a hit on him either.

I understand where you're coming from. I work full time and I'm taking a full load of classes; I look at the two 7.xb TOCs out there and even at my levels they look scary to me(and they are double my TOC). That said, they have those levels. Be it that they paid for them or they worked for them, they have them and they should be rewarded for such.

You won't be logging in any more often, the maximum amount of life force removed is the exact same as the current system.

That doesn't make it ok for one person to be able to do whatever they want with literally no possibility of retaliation at all from the victim.
If I can't waste myself on someone bigger, they shouldn't be able to peg off those so much punier.

You can, you just have to bump up your TOC. Which is possible. Albeit it may take a bit of time. You can still save yourself from a big toc easily with no repercussions.

Why should we punish someone for achieving more? That doesn't make any sense. With that logic we should require Olympic runners to wear a weight if they are able to run a mile faster than 4 minutes to make things "fair".

Ah, so the answer is. Be slaughtered without chance of retaliation or spend your life trying to catch up.

Big assumptions there; if you plan to keep up with the handful of users that are power housing TOC then yeah sure you probably would spend your life catching up, if they do continually build their TOC day in and day out. But if that's what you want to do for your ascended career then by all means.
Perhaps on a few occasions they won't be able to retaliate, then again if someone is attacking you, one or two refills against their descension attempts will prove to them you're active, and vice versa you wouldn't even bother attempting a retaliation descension if they are descending you.
You can undo the damage from a descension attack in a few seconds, the life force refill is not worth anything now, even when you're descended you only loose a bonus in main. You don't loose any resources. You can still fight, you can vac for awhile and get back on your feat easily.
The whole descension process is a level playing field regardless of size.
If someone has worked for a far longer time than someone else on their TOC, then all power to them, you shouldn't be able to straight up descend them in a few attacks.

Explain to me how I'm supposed to farm naq to get covert 40 (which people keep swearing is so simply doable) to keep up and still find the time to magically find DMU to catch these TOCs in Asc

c levels are thresholds, TOC is not, you can increase your TOC by a few points amazingly easy, but you cannot increase your covert level easily by 1 point.

FYI.. actually to some degree you can buy the ability to run faster. We've been doing it for ages. Look at ancient running times and records compared to now. Increased spending in technology, nutritional research etc etc have lead to athletes being able to run faster. What about all those performance enhancing drugs too. People with small **Filtered**'s go to the gym and use protein for example.

oh yes, massing is so easy when the enemy's defense is doubling and your strike is sitting there like an Empy at prom in comparison. The effect of a descension on main is massive during combat. And yeah you literally have to stop bothering for 2 weeks. Again, wonderful way to draw in new blood. Play ascended where you can't hit the bigger but they can hit you and if they get ya, you might as well ditch main for 2 weeks.

It all needs to be more symbiotic rather than just two games holding hands. Think conjoined twins. Thats where these multi-servers need to be. Balanced, actually playable, and competitive. Enough of the "well you can do it, its possible" No. It needs to be doable, not saying incredibly easy but people need to be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel and not told off for having a problem with the current, imo, unfair and unbalanced system.

We all know its too late to actually talk about it.

The game is being destroyed by the people who play it.

People are cheating, lying and making this game a nightmare to play, because people are extremely greedy and just dont want to accept a loss ( A lost war, a lost 1 vs 1 whatever it is). The admin does not take action against these players, because he is afraid of the results of his own actions...Like if he cared a lot before...(wondering if he suddenly grew brains)

Its weird why we actually still play this game...

We are all begging to the admin to actually do something about it, but he doesnt take actions...

What more can we do?

The only thing I currently like, is the ascended server. Sol upgraded the ascended server from a reasonable-to-play-game to a great-game-to-play-game. Just my thoughts.

But that is not purchasing the ability to run faster, rather the knowledge of how to make yourself run faster. The equivalent of buying a farm list, you still need to actually do it yourself.




You got me with the "protein shakes" analogy. However, those can have some nasty side effects, arguably equivalent to my argument that the downside of being so badass on ascended should make it not possible to strike upon the pathetically weak in comparison.

It's not purchasing it in a literal sense.. but then neither are you doing it here. You can buy a 50trill MS if you want.. unless you use it... so its actually exactly the same. Just because one requires a little more effort is irrelevant. By finding out the information and researching they're buying the knowledge to make the athletes go faster. Same way as buying the MS capacity is buying the parts to attack higher. In both respects you still need to use what you buy.

one thing that this game need is back to an "easy game" its has become too complicated to play. also to enable the auto vacation mode so all those who aint loging in 7 days gets vaced this will reduce the amount of resources thus lower the sick inflation of the game.
Limit the cash market /player
Ban cash trades in the forum.
Ban $players if they cheat.

create a galactic market and disable or super limit player to player trades.
player goods would be posted at market anonymity and in rounded amounts.
the rate is auto made with an option to increase or decrease of 5% of the base rate.
this will stop the feeders.


this game has been adapted a way to much to only a certain class of players whispering to admin so they could always have an advantage.

(That being said, spend a few minutes reading the post and try to look at it objectively rather than just complain it's a long post.)

Admin is not the problem. He is constantly trying to improve it and at every turn we do nothing but complain about it. We derail all ways he tries to improve the game and get feedback from us by not getting past our petty rivalry or spite for one another to see that and actually take an active, constructive part in these opportunities. He gives us a very rare thing in the gaming world. A rather large voice in how this game is made.

Spenders vs Non-Spenders is not the problem. In the TV series the humans had struggles against the galactic bad guys and yet they and their opponents both felt they were right. Suck it up and deal with it. There is always going to be a bigger fish eventually come along and kick your ass. Welcome to reality.

In short, 'What’s wrong with the game'? We all are for sitting here repeating the same thing over and over, complaining and not getting past our issues with others long enough to realize we all enjoy the game and wish it to continue. Never take the opportunity to come together as a community to make it better or just sitting back and saying nothing when the admin asks for help. Even when someone does try to constructively help, others don't and derail it or they actually agree with him and he goes back into the offensive with them and ends up derailing things himself.

A better question for the topic is, "What kind of people are we".
