During my already long SGW career, I think most of the time I have been at war with TA and TL. I admire your alliances teamwork and relentlessness to go on (with long wars). Fighting you guys always has kept me on the edge, feeling the need to improve my account and to keep building defence and go on myself.
Just to elaborate on my respect point (also helps answer Reborns point).
There are still individuals within DDE with who I do hold respect for. That does include Rodwolf and other mH members. I maintain no ill will to Mayhem and find it sad that what was once a very formidable independent alliance (we had some amazingly tough fought wars back in history) has been diminished by association with DDE to the point of only having two active players.
Yes. Attempts have been made to bring both sides to the table. Reborn pointed out that Harchester did once, Trux also tried at one point. I'm sure there were a couple others. The key problem is that DDE leadership has conducted itself so poorly during the course of this war that the desire for a diplomatic solution no longer exists.
@Tziki: Being at peace means not taking hostile actions. Deliberately targeted farming of 150 hits a day is not peaceful. An agreement may allow you to hit every time there is X naq or more out, however any one who hits as much as they can is not following the spirit of an agreement with the purpose to minimises attacks whilst allowing "occasional good naq hits".
As mathlord has said our principle is "leave us alone and we'll leave you alone".

Correct - I did, at the time we felt (DDE) that my relations with TF be put to use, by speaking with Greg and the other TF hcs to come up with a reasonable end.
The term of 6months peace was to sweeten the deal however at points dde didn't like it however that was expected, but slowly people changed minds and slowly people wanted the peace time to enjoy the game again to enjoy chance to rebuild and fight new wars or do something different in the game.
With no clear winner due to activity changing from TF to DDE, at time we would be boooming with life and others not same goes from
TF (wars are won with activity and just like wars are started with a change of leadership we felt a change of face (me) would work in the benefit and remove the hostilities between the allainces) but the discussion happened and terms were discussed neither side could compromise.
Surrenders were never going to happen.
It seemed calling the war a draw a stalemate both sides put aside the bad blood to say it happened it's in the past we moved on and that's it. Was never going to happen
Even the idea of a nice speech written by myself and other dde hc to congratulate TF and commend both TF and dde for hard fought war acknowledging both side done well despite our difference we could unite for the sake of the game and have peace was never going to happen.
- peoples egos from both sides wanted this war to continue their desires to burn the enemies alliance to the ground, I want to almost say hatred for each other continue this war.
And while the war rages those on both sides desiring it to end refuse to bring it to the end because some HC are able to block etc
If talks should re commence then suggestion that talks about the end result and not the past or why the war started should be the priority.
Even if you hear a bad story about me, Understand that there was a time I was good to those people to, But they won’t tell you that...
