Bank interest

I think that banks should actually have interest that grows daily, maybe a 1 or 2% a day range. It would not be drastic, but for those who actually take the time to save their gains it would eventually be useful.

At first I was all for the idea and voted yes...however on further reflection in occurs to me that where in the stargate universe would you have such a bank. Honestly, can you see every race just walking in and making deposits that a bank gives interest on. No way. I much prefer just a secret stash somewhere.

I change my vote to no...if thats at all possible.

Well don't think if this as a bank, but as a storage area. As a Goa'uld, my "bank" is called "Secret Temple". It makes sense that when you have a storage area, that there will be a build up of rescources. Not just do you yourself put more into the storage, but your servants do as well. And your servants put in small amounts over a long time.

maybe for the goa'uld that makes sense, but what about my "time chamber" label, the growth of resources doesn't entirely make sense with that name. i think that as it stands having you gain money in your "safe" when you gain it regularly just means you get more money, but thats not really a good reason for it cause you have a limit to how much you can store.

"time chamber" I assume that's Replicator. But as a replicator, you constantly reproduce. And I'm fairly certain that in order to reproduce you need resources. And I'm certain that some replicators will gather whatever resources they can, and take them to your "storage" area. And the reason it's a time chamber is because it can be stored there and be kept there for however long it's needed.

you have a limit to how much you can store.

too easy to max out when it finally becomes a big factor.

it's just not worth it to store too much in there if you get money just for having it in there. why? cause you might miss some money your interest gathers cause you've already maxed your bank account.

now this is a thread i feel worthy to bring back becuase when i started the game and i saw there was a bank i thought i would save because i would get interest but it turned out for everyone except goa'uld you have to pay them.

i dont think that is good just a small interest it would be nice i think this is a great idea and one worthy to bring back after 7 months tell me if you disagree

ok maybe some of them have been abandoned for a reson but i think there are some out there that are really good
