i support this idea... i wanna know what it was like in febuary 2005.

i want everybody to have a fair chance in the game unlike now where noobs can come put of know where and ascend in like a month.

as i said people like etl can just get as many officers as they want and can have enough allys to become domenent over the game again

and people with skill who cant get a mass of officers and allys like me it wont matter how much skill i have(which is umlimited)

It wouldn't work out the way people think...

If it was THE SAME as main, It would have to have SS. Although there is some revenue generated by the adclicks, I'm sure it is far less than you think. How many people even notice those ads anymore, and how many people have them blocked with adsense? SS would be a must to support the server costs...

Also, I can tell you from experience that adding a second server would split the player base. Some new and newer players might play main for fun, but most of them realize that they aren't going to be a dominant force in it any time soon, so most of them would choose to play new main instead. The dominant players in main might play both, but there will also be alot of players that "just don't have time for another server."

Then you would have players that only play one (whether it be main or new main) only to boost their other account. It is pretty obvious that forum doesn't have anything against cross-server trading, and rightfully so, it encourages players to play and support multiple servers, and is probably the only reason that all of the spin-off servers are as successful as they are.

Cross server trading would defeat any sort of balance that might have occured by playing a new server, as the people with the most resources in main could easily buy a quick headstart in new main, and with the exponential growth of these games would actually end up further ahead on new main than they are already.

Granted, most of this could be solved by not having SS as mentioned, but then you still run into the problems of paying for the server and splitting the player base. All in all, it would be a poor business decision without ss, and with ss, it isn't accomplishing what the person that suggested was hoping for.

I never agreed with God on any idea before(alright that sounded wrong). But he is 100% on the money here.

Spitting a player base is BAD from more than one experience.

Dividing the amount of time an admin can spend on one sever is just as bad.

There would be no balance, because as others have mentioned... one server would just be used to boost the stats of someone on another server(If there was SS).

And less money for Forum... He made a game, it is fun... enjoy it

ide help u apadamek i code a few mmo's and ide gladly help you run a server but i think there should be an ascension server and heres an idea? every 1 gets the ss give reosurce and broker bonus on sgw main II.

Do you mean Forum Mods or Game Mods? If you mean Forum Mods - that has been in from the start - and, if you think about it - who else would moderate the forum? If you mean Game Mods - well there aren't any players who are Game Mods.

Additionally - this is not exactly on topic!

That is enough of that - his point is perfectly valid and he is entitled to his opinion and does not have to shut up just because you are tired of hearing it. It is a funny thing that people do tend to get tired of things which are factually correct.

And may I also suggest that you alter your signature as some mods/admins may consider it disrespectful.
