tamper data, is in effect, "hacking" the end result of the tamper data is a "hack" which is against the rules.

cant think of any reason... we only wonder about it since we couldnt think of any way that it could be monitored... but we are not experts when it comes to coding and such, so we asked...

besides, why use it most times? it usually takes more time than it saves to use it... except on chaos, where the boxes are in general too small... but we know that will first change the next wave...

he has records of all transactions yes? if you buy more then 999 mercs at one time he can see it yes? All he has to do is burn countless hours looking at accounts and Bam, lotta banned accounts.

R3B3L.. it's the fact that not everyone can do it... that is the issue that makes it unfair... and I would be arguing this case even if I could do it... which I can at home...

How can everyone use it? My computer at work uses windows 95 and I cannot download ANYTHING to that computer. So please send me instruction on how to do it so I can have the same advantage everyone else has.

Actually... If the server keeps a log of who buys what... Wouldn't it be best taht at 00:00:00 game time, it scans the records and anyone who makes a purchase larger than whatever number has their ID sent to admin. That'd be as simple as cross referenceing a sql table once a day.

it might also be better if it "reported" those who bought more than 2997, as that would be the max possible to buy if one added up all merc types...

but wouldnt it be better to have a sort of code that checks when buying?

total number bought = x; if x > 2997, enact protocol y.

where protocol y removes mercs bought plus a small penalty...

how does that sound? wouldnt that make admin's day easier than to have a list of id's sent to him?

Its still 999....

It sends every type in separate line. So the limit is 999

And from this point i will enforce that Tamper Data is illegal, therefore, noone shall advertise it, help others how to use it. Only thing alowed here is a suggestion AGAINST it, or suggest making things that whay where u dont need to use it.
Also u can report Tamper Data users at the cheaters section is guess...

Well if admin was so concerned he'd look at the simple answer by increasing limits, instead of banning people which it would seem is not very effective in this game.

once i ascend I need roughly 2.25million mercs, if you think im buying them 999 at a time you must be joking.

2.25 mill is like all mercs in 40turns... so u will take all with Tamperdata, leaving 0 for the other 5-10k active players. You think its fair to do that?
Cause if it wasnt gaining an unfair advantage, than what is ?

Well 40turns you say, that just leaves 17427 turns of all the year left for others to buy mercs.
