But anyways, last time the convention idea came up, we had a user group showing anyone interested. Wondering if something like it is underway, just so all us creepy stalker types can see who's comming

yes i have, i have a friend that lives in melbourn, his family also owns a unit right on cavil at the gold coast, they spend thier holidays at the gold coast rather than melbourn. and i dont mean parks. i mean gardens, (personal gardens not public ones) parks suck for tricking, it draws a croud and gets annoying.

However I had the idea...


What if we all chipped in $x dollars (depending on how many are coming), lets say $20 each, and rented out a conference hall? Paid on the day to the organizers, and that pays for some snags, drink, the hall, etc.


I think (not 100%) that DreamWorld actually has a package for businesses and groups that allows you to go into the park for the day and have a lunch, and rent out a hall inside dreamworld. I'll check up on that.


But if we're going to do this, lets do it right .
