if i was to sell your house to someone else, you wouldnt lose your house, the person who bought it would be re-embursed and you would be allowed to keep your house. and i would be endited for fraud. you would not be kicked out of your house and have some random live in it.

See, a house is not a very good example, because I am mostly in it.
If I am not in it, and you can steal it, that's my own stupidity. If I don't take the necessary precautions to prevent you from stealing and reselling my house, that's my fault, and I need to be more careful in the future.
It is like: "Tough luck," go find another house.
I know that's not really customary.

Bill was the last owner of the account, not Juan.

how come no1 reported Bill as scammer?
did it have to take 6 months to realise, that he didnt got the $$?

if I give some1 my pasword... then the account is his, not mine. Its obvious, that Juan's account havent been stolen, otherwise, he would report it. I see no way of returning the account.

If I am aware of the theft, that makes me an accomplice, but if I buy the stolen object in complete ignorance to the theft of said object, I am the rightful owner.
The thief can be prosecuted for theft and demanded to pay up damages, but the object is still mine.

That is just wrong on so many levels.

If you buy a stolen car and get handed stolen papers for the car i.e. you buy it with complete ignorance, the car will be taken from you WITHOUT any compensation.

If you pay for something, even though it is stolen, it is not your property even though it is in your possession.

If you are found with stolen goods on you, even though you didn't know they were stolen, you can be arrested if enough evidence points your way that you did in fact know that the goods were hot.

but SGW account doesnt have papers, that can proove, that its his account. The only thing to show, that the account is yours... is the password... if u decide to give it away its on your risk.

I mean Juan could complain... that he didnt got the $$ when Bill was having the account. He could get it back. It was known for a long time, that Bill wants to leave SGW. Every1 knew, that the account is Bills not Juans

yeah that's in rl, I mean show me a country, any country, where you can steal someones possessions, sell it to a friend and it then becomes his legal property.

Corkscrew needs to explain his reasons behind this, 6 months is just too long to lay claim to this account as still belonging to JUAN as Bill has been using it for 6 months. The question arises why didn't Corkscrew PM Bill and threaten him with massing?
