1) Yes, I am. Think of it this way, they are two DIFFERENT things. They both put you on to PPT that is correct, but then sabotage and massing both destroy the enemies weapons do they not? But you would consider these different actions right?
With getting PPT, you can use market turns or the black market (attacking), but you can also be put on PPT by the alliance leader (sabotage). Two different actions, same result.

(To be honest you are trying to compare apples with oranges, two very different scenarios)

1. Should you be allowed to sab/mass someone and then vac your account? - No, so why should you be able to perma PPT an account? by simply purchasing a PPT.

2. Sab and massing still have there losses, being able to vac mode right after a PPT has no losses and is a clear advantage on an account.

2) When choosing a house MOST (probably not all) alliances would consult with their alliance members before committing to a house. And if a member doesn't like it, they have 5 days to leave anyway. As opposed to alliance wide PPT, which is usually NOT consulted upon by alliance members, and is instead used to defend the alliance, especially when most member maybe offline.

So on one hand your saying that a leader talks to his alliance about a house change but not on PPT's that would be generalizing all alliances to fit a discussion.

All alliance's I have been in, we would get a pm wide notification of when a PPT is going to be put in place, if it doesn't fit your plans you get hold of the leaders, if they say it's going to go ahead anyway, you make the decision to hop out of the alliance or wait it out ...yes in emergency situations a forced PPT is put on you, but again that is part of being in an alliance.

Allience ppt is a thing that can be pushed upon u as I knw most allience leaders in this game use it for there own benifit

yes in emergency situations a forced PPT is put on you, but again that is part of being in an alliance.

So what your saying is, if I plan a holiday, and haven't attacked for 23 hours so I can vacation. An emergency comes up, and an alliance PPT issued. I should have to suffer and leave my account open to have whatever done to it. Or as some people have pointed out (Lore specifically), some people work 14, 15, 16 hour days. Do the alliances seriously give 24 hour notice of an alliance PPT that lasts what is it these days, 4 hours?

All self chosen PPTs should count exactly the same, imo that includes ones attained with cash purchases. Doesn't matter how you get the ppt, if you yourself are initiating it you know the costs for vacation.

Anything forced upon you, should not count towards vacation restrictions.

Doing the math, to exploit it, you'd have to spend $160/month to go from PPT to vacation forever. I think maybe adding 12 hours is a good idea, 24 is probably not necessary. Reason being, for $160/month, you can get 800T/month from players. I think this would be more then what you can save with 18 days of PPT (44T/day)

but its still a flaw i dnt care how much u wanna use in a month but its a fact that its a flaw that people can exploit.
