My suggestions for different possible uses for these units are the following. If you don,t like some, it's ok, I like some more than others as well
1. Have them produce income at 1/10 or maybe 1/20 the rate of UU.
2. Have them contribute to bank size
3. Have them become trainable as not only attack and defense, but maybe even covert or miners/anti-covert when that is released. Maybe not all of them, maybe just trainable into spies at 3x the cost of training a UU into a spy.
4. See them as cheap labour, the more you have, the less the cost of weapons is (limited to 10% rebate, we need limits in life
5. Have them affect the morale in a battle, the faked great number would make the enemy ill-at-ease and they would steal less or something, or have more losses, dunno
6. Make them like birth mothers in "The Giver", they would basically augment total UP.
7. Have them repair the mothership, lowering the amount of shields to completely rebuild after every attack.
8. They can pose as super soldiers with weapons, so unless someone has a way higher covert than you, they will think that you are stronger than you really are when they recon you
9. They are really medics that heal your wounded and decrease your losses in battle!!!
10. They are really repairmen that decrease the repair costs of weapons, seeing as you have already bought a contract with them.

These are 10 suggestions, they are not all good, but some are creative. I will give 100,000,000 naquadah to the person that has the best new idea that is reasonable and I judge good enough
